Don’t Press Pause on God

I recently came to the understanding that Christ given knowledge WILL FIND YOU! Can you imagine what a mess the world would be in if God had to wait for humans to figure out the meaning of things in their lives? Some people are naturally just a bit more curious than others and enjoy the search that leads them to such meanings, not seeing that even the search itself was activated by God because if your conscious mind is not ready or God has not said its time for said knowledge then He will stop you from getting to it. So just the fact that the events began to take place to lead you were God ordained you to be is a absolute guarantee that you nor anything can get in the way of it. Now what about those people that just cant wait for thinking, analyzing, searching; can the search itself become a sin of omission? Yes, here is why; first to understand that a sin of omission is the “not doing” that prompt you know is from God. When you have the gut feeling or pop-up ideas that you know you are to act on and yet you just need a little more time, a few more facts, a more distinct understanding of your part and the list goes on. When God says move we should move, our trusting His direction can not be conditional upon the knowledge we have for the task and yet that is the ugly side of free will. God says Move and we have the right to say “ok, but let me get my things together first.” I admit to being the worst case of this due to fear of failure, the pure joy I find in the time spent learning, double-minded trust, etc. but our faults while may be able to delay us when we chose not to obey they can not stop the victory God will have with the outcome; our stubbornness will only cause different methods to be used to get us where He already said we were supposed to be. When we fight God even in the noblest way to check the doors before leaving the house or calling family to inform them and it undermines God position of power it is a Sin and for me the fear of not being good enough on what God says is for me has stopped me more than I want to admit. See I have always felt that I needed to be ready, sober, have my life together, etc but we need to see that God already knew you and I would be what we are and thats why He wants us for our parts because it is what He can use for His purpose for His Glory and ultimately for our purpose to Holiness. I encourage you today just as I do myself, dont let anything stop you from stepping in the order God calls your steps. Allow yourself to trust the Lords plan and know that even though we can mess it up, its not going to happen unless it was meant to happen. Holy Spirit prompts are God given ones so dont brush them off. God Bless!
